Abstract: This study investigates the influence of cultural factors on vocational training outcomes in Nigeria, exploring how cultural norms, beliefs, and practices impact educational experiences and career pathways. Culture shapes individuals' perceptions of education and career choices, influencing enrollment, retention, and success in vocational training programs. The research aims to (1) examine cultural influences on student motivation and learning behaviors in vocational education, (2) analyze the role of cultural sensitivity in curriculum design and delivery, and (3) propose strategies for promoting cultural inclusivity and equity in vocational training. A survey research design is justified to gather perspectives from students, educators, and community leaders. A sample size of 400 participants will be selected through purposive sampling to represent diverse cultural backgrounds in Rivers State. Case studies will explore institutions implementing culturally responsive practices. Findings revealed that cultural norms affect educational aspirations and career decisions, emphasizing the need for culturally relevant pedagogies and supportive learning environments. Recommendations include integrating multicultural perspectives into curriculum content, providing diversity training for educators, and fostering partnerships with community stakeholders to create inclusive vocational education settings that respect and celebrate cultural diversity.
